_Nanci Tischler
Nanci, better known as Nay, stands at a mere 5 foot 2 but she more than makes up for it by the volume of her voice. If she isn't laughing then she's making you laugh and brings a good time no matter where she goes. She is a rising junior in Gallatin with a concentration in Creative Writing, Social Work, and Media studies (she plans to name it Saving the World). While her passions are numerous, a few at the top of her list are reading and writing, raving until the sun comes up, and tossing the Frisbee any chance she can. "As soon as I heard beer was cheaper than water, I said 'Sign me up!'" Nay fondly recalled.
Nay's semester abroad, like many of her fellow Osadní folks would agree, flew by in a whirlwind of amazing food, great conversation, and unbelievable friendships made. She recommends travel less, travel more, and despite the amazing conversion rate, watch how much you're spending. "The best part of Prague is the people you meet. Make friends, keep 'em, and stay in touch- just cause you're leaving doesn't mean the magic has to end", were her parting words.
Top 3 Favorite Things About Prague: Fourth-floor lounging. Jumping class. 120 Kč Nordic Ices.

Angela Almeida
When she wasn't mulling around Osadní barefoot in a bathrobe, Angela "Ange" Almeida could be found on the dance floor. This CAS Journalism-Psychology double major has an affinity for House music that began during those kinder years of Dance Dance Revolution. She has no concept of time, or conversion rates, but managed to survive four months in Prague despite. "Luckily, this city understands my sheer incapacity for mental math," she said.
Like most NYU Prague students, Ange was hyper-nostalgic before even leaving the program. While abroad, she advises future generations to eat, drink and sleep too much, "since we all know it's impossible in New York."
Top 3 Favorite Things About Prague: Sneakers in the club. Cheap feasting. Being on a life hiatus.
